Basketball star Heo Woong set a remarkable record of finishing first for 31 consecutive months in the July Sports Category of the Netizen Awards.

According to the final tally, Heo received 8,234 votes (41.4%), defending the 40% threshold in vote share and once again proving himself to be the absolute powerhouse of the Netizen Awards sports category. He firmly maintained his solo lead, powered by the strong solidarity of his fandom.

Football star Lee Kang-in took second place. Garnering 6,422 votes (32.3%), he held on firmly to the runner-up position, continuing from the previous month. Figure skating queen Kim Yuna secured third place with 1,607 votes (8.1%), rounding out the top three.
