On the broadcast of KBS1's '6 O'Clock My Hometown' on the 17th, Miss Kim visited Yongchu Village in Boseong, Gwangju Metropolitan Integrated Special City, Jeollanam-do, introducing local specialties and interactions with residents.

After receiving the first 'Top Pride' hint of 'one letter' at Yongchu Village, Miss Kim visited a Hanwoo (Korean beef) farm with 200 head of cattle. When she asked about the age of the farmer's son and received the answer '40 years old,' she reacted cheerfully, brightening the atmosphere on site. After tasting Boseong Hanwoo, she poured out admiration, saying, 'It's ridiculously delicious.'

She then helped elderly residents who were busy harvesting red chili peppers in the fields. When the elders explained that 'even though the weather is hot, the peppers are ripening so we have to pick them,' Miss Kim rolled up her sleeves and lent a hand. After tasting the peppers, she could not hide her surprise, saying, 'It's sweet, almost like an oi-gochu (cucumber pepper).'

Miss Kim visited a valley steeped in the legend of a soaring dragon, examining a deep hole and considering the possibility that the village's 'Top Pride' might be 'water,' but it was not the correct answer. Setting out to find the village's true pride, she tasted matcha latte and early rice nurungji (scorched rice), evaluating it as 'completely different from any rice I've ever had before.'

Early rice is a specialty produced by harvesting rice before it fully ripens, just before Chuseok. An elder who even built a factory for mass production offered freshly steamed rice personally. Miss Kim was surprised by the firm texture of the early rice and praised it highly, saying, 'It's my first time trying it, and it's really sweet and chewy.' The elder showed pride, responding, 'Once you know the taste, you won't eat anything else.'

Grown in the high altitudes and significant temperature variations of Ungchi-myeon, early rice has established itself as Yongchu Village's signature specialty. On this day, Miss Kim worked alongside village residents, showing an endearing granddaughter-like charm and injecting vitality throughout the village.
