In the July Netizen Awards Net Grand Prix (Champion of Champions) category, Hwang Young Woong defended his throne without wavering. As it is a stage where top-tier stars from each category compete, interest in the ranking competition was intense, and voting was conducted over the course of a month with steady participation from fans.

Hwang Young Woong Solidifies Lead with Over 30% Share

According to the final tally of the Net Grand Prix, Hwang Young Woong took first place with a total of 60,332 votes, securing a 30.6% share. Although the number of votes saw a slight adjustment compared to June, he maintained a share exceeding 30% and continued his lead in the Champion of Champions.

Jung Seo Joo took second place with 27,494 votes (14.0%), holding the same ranking as the previous month. Byun Woo Seok climbed to third place with 16,535 votes (8.4%), while Son Tae Jin recorded fourth place with 14,965 votes (7.6%). Jang Min Ho placed fifth with 14,551 votes (7.4%), Kim Hye Yoon sat at sixth with 11,103 votes (5.6%), and Bin Ye Seo maintained seventh place with 7,438 votes (3.8%).

Middle of the Pack: A 'Cliffhanger' with Marginal Vote Differences

The ranking competition in the middle of the pack was also fierce. The crossover group Liberante moved up to eighth place with 5,522 votes (2.8%), and Park Ji Hyun took ninth place with 5,138 votes (2.6%). Min Soo Hyun recorded tenth place with 4,961 votes (2.5%), making the top 10.

Notably, Jung Dong Won remained in eleventh place with 4,948 votes — a mere 13-vote difference from Min Soo Hyun — leaving some disappointment. Choon Gil placed twelfth with 4,728 votes (2.4%), Enoch thirteenth with 4,395 votes (2.2%), Park Chang Geun fourteenth with 4,279 votes (2.2%), and My Jin fifteenth with 3,429 votes (1.7%).

Lower Rankings Also Receive Passionate Fan Support

Lee Se Young ranked sixteenth with 2,369 votes (1.2%), and Cho Yong Pil took seventeenth place with 2,023 votes (1.0%). Gu Chang Mo placed eighteenth with 1,954 votes (1.0%), Fortena recorded nineteenth with 756 votes (0.4%), and Kian84 received 55 votes to finish in twentieth place, wrapping up the July Net Grand Prix voting.

In this Net Grand Prix, Hwang Young Woong solidified his lead with a share of over 30%, while Byun Woo Seok's jump to third place in the upper tier and the marginal vote-gap competition in the middle of the pack drew attention until the very end.
