Actress Kim Go-eun has earned the Grand Prize at the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards.

At the ceremony held on the 31st at Paradise City in Incheon, Kim Go-eun received the Grand Prize in recognition of the immense love she received from global audiences through numerous OTT works, including Netflix's 'Eun-jung and Sang-yeon,' 'The Price of Confession,' and Tving's 'Yumi's Cells' Season 3. This marks the second time an actress has won the Grand Prize at this awards ceremony, following Song Hye-kyo at the 2nd edition in 2023.

In her acceptance speech, Kim Go-eun stated that she has always felt a sense of responsibility with every project and participated with earnest dedication, expressing her hope for more opportunities in the future.

Key Winners in Drama and Variety Categories

In the drama category, the Tving series 'A Legend of the Mess Cook' won Best Picture. The Best Actor award went to Park Hae-soo of GenieTV's 'Scarecrow,' and Best Actress was awarded to Shin Hye-sun of Netflix's 'Lady Dua.' Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress went to Yoon Kyung-ho of 'A Legend of the Mess Cook' and Park Bo-kyung of 'Lady Dua,' respectively. Best New Actor went to Kim Jae-won of 'Yumi's Cells' Season 3, while Best New Actress was awarded to Jeon So-young of Netflix's 'Kirigo.'

In the variety category, Netflix's 'Born Single but Want to Date' won Best Picture. Starting this year, the Male and Female Variety Entertainer awards were divided into Best and Excellence categories.

Best Male Variety Entertainer went to Kim Won-hoon of Coupang Play's 'SNL Korea' Season 8, while Best Female Variety Entertainer was awarded to Kim Sook of Netflix's 'Do-Rider: The Rival.' Excellence awards went to Joo Woo-jae of 'Do-Rider: The Rival' and Jung Yi-rang of Coupang Play's 'Sister's Café,' respectively. Best New Male Variety Entertainer went to Kim Kyu-won of 'SNL Korea' Season 8, while Best New Female Variety Entertainer went to Shim Ja-yoon (Yoon of STAYC) of Coupang Play's 'Office Workers' Season 2.

Kim Won-hoon showed tears of emotion, expressing gratitude to his fellow comedians Jo Jin-se and Eom Ji-yoon.

Lim Yoon-a and Jeon Hyun-moo MC for 5th Consecutive Year

The Blue Dragon Series Awards have been held since 2022, recognizing content from online video streaming (OTT) services. Broadcaster Jeon Hyun-moo and Girls' Generation member and actress Lim Yoon-a hosted the event for the fifth consecutive year.
