Cube Entertainment announced that its group NOWZ (Hyunbin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhwik, Siyoon) will make a comeback on August 5 with the digital single 'Achilles'.

Recently, NOWZ heightened comeback anticipation to its peak by releasing the final concept photos for the new track through their official SNS. In both group and individual photos, the members showcased a modern reinterpretation of 1980s retro glitter looks. In particular, they visualized a 'newtro disco' aesthetic through see-through glitter outfits accented with red, silver, and blue, perfectly pulling off a chic and decadent mood.

The title track 'Achilles' is based on a funky 1980s disco sound and tells a love story of youth being disarmed by just one person. Through this promotion, NOWZ plans to prove their expanded musical spectrum and broad ability to pull off diverse concepts.

Meanwhile, ahead of the music release, NOWZ will carry out various offline events with fans. On the 1st, they will hold a one-day part-time job event where they will personally hand out ice cream to fans at the Vervevr store in Seongsu-dong, Seoul. Then on the 2nd, they are scheduled to take the stage at the '2026 Ocean World Birthday Blue Splash Festival' held at Ocean World in Hongcheon, Gangwon Province, for a meaningful meeting with fans.

NOWZ's new digital single 'Achilles' will be released at 6 p.m. on August 5 through various online music sites.
