Samsung Electronics defended its top position and maintained its lead in the corporate grand prize voting category of the July Netizen Awards.

According to the final tally, Samsung Electronics secured 1,215 votes, recording first place with a 47.4% share. While both the vote count and share saw slight adjustments compared to the previous month, the company captured nearly half of all votes, numerically reaffirming its dominance in the category.

Samsung Electronics had closed with a surge of over 20% during the trading session on July 31, amid a sharp rally in both major indices, drawing attention to its performance on the first trading day of August.

In the top tier, Hyundai Motor and LG trailed Samsung Electronics, forming a Big Three landscape among major conglomerates. Hyundai Motor solidified its second-place position with 569 votes and a 22.2% share, while LG secured third place with 366 votes and a 14.3% share.

Competition in the middle tier was fierce. Lotte and Hanwha Ocean each garnered 142 votes, tying for fourth place with an equal 5.5% share, while Shinsegae took sixth place with 121 votes (4.7%).

In the lower tier, Hyundai Rotem defended seventh place with 4 votes (0.2%), and SK Group ranked eighth with 2 votes (0.1%). Korea Electric Power Corporation and Hyosung each received one vote, finishing tied for ninth place.
