As of 2:13 p.m. on the 3rd, Madup (0039P0) is trading at 7,860 won, up 20.92% (1,360 won) from the previous trading day, showing strength in the afternoon session.

Earlier in the session, Madup had struggled with weakness, falling to as low as 6,470 won at one point, but strong buying pressure subsequently flowed in, successfully turning the stock upward. In particular, heading into the afternoon, the stock rapidly expanded its gains, recovering the 7,800 won level.

During the rapid share price increase, a Volatility Intervention Mechanism (VI) was also activated. According to the Korea Exchange, a static VI for Madup was triggered at 1:33:25 p.m. and released at 1:35:31 p.m. Madup, which listed on the KOSDAQ market in July, has exhibited high volatility since its listing.

Meanwhile, in the domestic stock market at the same time, indices are mixed. While the KOSPI is showing weakness at the 6,233 level, down more than 5%, the KOSDAQ is continuing its strong trend, rising about 2.37% to the 736 level, resulting in a differentiated performance among individual stocks.
