Actor Matt Damon attended the press conference for the film 'The Odyssey' on the morning of the 3rd at the Four Seasons Hotel in Gwanghwamun, Seoul.

The film 'The Odyssey' tells the story of the trials faced by Odysseus (Matt Damon), the hero who led the Trojan War to victory over ten years, as he leaves a kingdom plagued by plunder and power struggles in the king's absence, and sets out to return to his waiting wife Penelope (Anne Hathaway) and son Telemachus (Tom Holland). Matt Damon plays the role of Odysseus, King of Ithaca, while Charlize Theron takes on the role of Calypso, the sea goddess.

At the press conference that day, director Christopher Nolan, who is officially visiting Korea for the first time, along with actors Charlize Theron and Matt Damon, and producer Emma Thomas, were in attendance and shared various stories about the film.

'The Odyssey' is set to open in domestic theaters on the 5th. It will enter full-scale competition at the summer box office alongside 'Hope,' which has currently surpassed 4 million admissions, and 'Spider-Man 4,' which broke the shortest-time record by surpassing 3 million admissions within its first week of release.
