Korea Zinc continued its solid earnings improvement, surpassing KRW 6 trillion in revenue and recording an operating profit more than double that of the same period last year.

According to Korea Zinc on the 5th, revenue for the second quarter of 2026 on a consolidated provisional basis was tallied at KRW 6.3726100 trillion. This represents a 5.0% increase from the previous quarter and a 66.6% increase year-on-year.

Key Q2 performance indicators are as follows: • Operating Profit: KRW 587.113 billion (down 21.3% QoQ, up 126.8% YoY) • Profit Before Income Tax from Continuing Operations: KRW 506.789 billion (down 2.1% QoQ, up 19.8% YoY) • Net Income: KRW 351.539 billion (down 0.7% QoQ, up 6.6% YoY) • Net Income Attributable to Owners of the Parent Company: KRW 348.601 billion (down 1.7% QoQ, up 5.3% YoY)

The company also achieved parallel growth on a cumulative basis for the first half of this year. First-half revenue reached KRW 12.4446290 trillion (up 62.5% YoY), while operating profit amounted to KRW 1.3333168 trillion (up 151.5% YoY).

Cumulative first-half profit before income tax from continuing operations (KRW 1.0245410 trillion), net income (KRW 705.580 billion), and net income attributable to owners of the parent company (KRW 703.198 billion) also increased by 54.9%, 43.3%, and 42.5%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.

The company stated that these earnings are provisional consolidated figures prepared in accordance with the Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS), and may be subject to partial changes following the final settlement and review by the external auditor.
