Namsung announced on the 5th that its revenue and operating profit improved significantly on a consolidated basis in its preliminary Q2 2026 results.

Q2 revenue stood at KRW 21.617 billion, up 15.5% from the same period last year (KRW 18.721 billion) and up 16.9% from the previous quarter (KRW 18.490 billion).

Operating profit surged 720.4% to KRW 3.290 billion from KRW 0.401 billion in the same period last year. It also rose 186.6% compared to the previous quarter (KRW 1.148 billion).

Profit before income tax from continuing operations for Q2 was KRW 0.364 billion. This marked a turnaround from a loss of KRW 1.678 billion in the same period last year, but represented a 93.7% decrease from the previous quarter (KRW 5.812 billion).

Net income for the period was KRW 3.084 billion, turning to a profit from a net loss of KRW 1.527 billion in the same period last year, but declining 29.5% compared to the previous quarter (KRW 4.376 billion). Net income attributable to owners of the parent company was KRW 3.074 billion, also swinging to a profit year-over-year, while falling 29.9% from the previous quarter.

On a cumulative basis for the first half of the year, the company recorded revenue of KRW 40.107 billion (+3.9% year-over-year), operating profit of KRW 4.437 billion (+123.6%), profit before income tax from continuing operations of KRW 6.176 billion (turnaround to profit), net income of KRW 7.461 billion (turnaround to profit), and net income attributable to owners of the parent company of KRW 7.459 billion (turnaround to profit).

The company stated that these results are preliminary consolidated figures prepared in accordance with the Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS) and may differ from the final results, as the external auditor's review has not yet been completed.
