Koyoung will invest 29.4 billion won to expand its Yeoju Production Center in response to growing demand for its next-generation growth drivers.

According to Koyoung on the 6th, a total of 29.439 billion won will be invested in this new facility investment. This amount represents 8.8% of the company's equity (335.165 billion won) based on the 2025 consolidated financial statements under K-IFRS. The investment will be funded through internally held funds.

The core of this facility expansion is to increase production capacity for industrial inspection equipment to address the expanding demand from AI data center (AIDC) and semiconductor customers. In addition, the company plans to further strengthen its production base in line with the global expansion of its medical robot business.

The site slated for expansion is an existing plot located in Gwangdae-ri, Sejongdaewang-myeon, Yeoju-si, Gyeonggi-do. The project will involve constructing a new second production center on previously acquired land. Construction is scheduled to begin on August 6, 2026, and be completed by August 31, 2027.

The company explained that the investment amount does not include the cost of the previously acquired land, and it represents a pure facility investment cost excluding value-added tax. It also added that the investment amount and duration may change depending on future licensing procedures, construction progress, and changes in the business environment.
