Actress Lee Ah-hyun candidly opened up about her three marriages and divorces, as well as the adoption process of her two daughters. Having first married a non-celebrity three years her senior in 1997, she divorced after three years. She then married her second husband in a union lasting from 2006 to 2011, and married her third husband in 2012 before their marriage ended in 2020. She is currently raising her two adopted daughters on her own as a single parent.

I think I rushed through it because I have an impatient personality." He had a gentle personality, but as we lived together, he encountered difficulties and it eventually led to a divorce." During this period, she welcomed her first daughter into her arms. Without setting any conditions, she adopted a one-week-old baby as her daughter. However, she also revealed the agonizing times she faced, having to shoulder a 1.5 billion won debt incurred by her ex-husband and pay 100 million won in monthly interest to third-tier financial institutions. After returning to her family home with her eldest daughter, Lee decided to adopt a second child, wanting to create a complete family. With advice from Lee Yoon-mi, the wife of Joo Young-hoon, she welcomed a two-month-old baby as her second daughter and later enjoyed the joy of great success in home shopping.

The story behind her third marriage was also extraordinary. "The children wanted a father, so I wanted to give them one quickly. Because they were adopted, I always felt sorry whenever there was something lacking for them," she said, revealing her deep affection for her children. However, she stated that there were also incompatible aspects with her third husband, which eventually led to their breakup.
