Broadcaster Seo Jang-hoon emphasized that he has never evicted a tenant from his building.

On the episode of EBS variety show 'Seo Jang-hoon's Millionaire Neighbor Season 2' that aired on the 5th, the life story of Lee Kyung-ae, a medicinal cuisine (yakseon) researcher with 50 years of experience and a three-time Presidential Award recipient, was featured. On this day, Lee Kyung-ae shared an anecdote about a building owner she experienced while running her business.

Lee Kyung-ae recounted that she faced hardships in her childhood due to her father's gambling and started a food business to overcome hunger. She borrowed money on a daily basis to open a Chinese restaurant and saw good business for six months, but was eventually forced out when the owner of a nearby Chinese restaurant purchased the building. She then opened a cafe in a good location after her husband worked in Saudi Arabia for four years, but three years later, she received another eviction notice from the building owner.

Hearing this story, Seo Jang-hoon expressed his sorrow, saying, "I don't understand why building owners tell their tenants to leave like that." He then emphasized that he has never once asked anyone who moved into his buildings to leave. He repeatedly stated, "I have never told anyone in my buildings to leave."

Meanwhile, it is known that the real estate owned by Seo Jang-hoon includes a building with two basement floors and five above-ground floors located in Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, along with one building each in Seogyo-dong and Heukseok-dong, totaling three buildings. The value of these properties is estimated to exceed 70 billion won.

In the past, on a radio broadcast, Seo Jang-hoon explained the background of being selected as a 'kind building owner,' stating that he does not directly invest in real estate but his father manages it. He has previously stated, "I have the intention not to unreasonably collect rent within the bounds of common sense."
