Singer and actor Yoon Jisung proved his standout presence as he raised the curtain on the musical 'The Boy's Portrait.'

Yoon Jisung recently completed the first performance of the musical 'The Boy's Portrait' at TOM 2 Hall in Daehangno, Seoul. In this production, he took on a dual role, transforming into Jacopo, a boy from 1530 Venice, and Nicola, a modern-day art dealer.

In particular, Yoon Jisung drew distinct differences in the way the two characters spoke, their facial expressions, and their movements, vividly portraying characters that traverse different eras. Combined with stable vocal skills and solid acting, he has been receiving praise for significantly elevating the audience's immersion in the play.

After the performance, Yoon Jisung expressed his deep affection for the work through his agency Billions, saying, 'We held the first performance of "The Boy's Portrait," a world premiere production. I had a precious experience creating this work together with the cast and creative team.' He added, 'I hope that "The Boy's Portrait" will remain a happy memory for the audience during this hot summer,' conveying his sincere gratitude to the audience.

Meanwhile, Yoon Jisung, who made his stage debut in the 2019 musical 'Those Days,' has solidified his position as a musical actor by appearing in numerous works such as 'Return,' 'Something Rotten!,' and 'Happy O! Happy.' Recently, he has also been active in acting through the dramas 'Thundercloud Downpour' and 'Goodbye Solo,' and he is widely known to the public as a former member of the group 'Wanna One.'

The musical 'The Boy's Portrait' will continue at TOM 2 Hall in Daehangno, Seoul, until October 18.
