[Entertainment News] Actress Ha Young is drawing attention after revealing that she comes from a family of doctors spanning four generations. Appearing on a recent content piece on the Netflix Korea YouTube channel, Ha Young shared her unique family history.

She stated, "From my great-grandfather to my grandfather and father, they are all doctors," and added, "In particular, I heard that my great-grandfather was the first doctor to open a practice in Hanyang based on Western medicine." She also mentioned that her older sister is currently working as an internal medicine physician.

This family history became a solid support system for Ha Young's acting career. She explained that her family's advice was of great help during the filming of the Netflix series 'Severe Trauma Center.' She reportedly asked her family frequently about detailed aspects, including medication names, medical terminology, and the positioning of nurses during surgery scenes, which allowed her to complete a realistic performance. However, Ha Young also laughed and said, "I have never thought about becoming a doctor," adding, "I hoped my sister would take that path instead."

During the broadcast, she also addressed various rumors surrounding her. She emphasized that rumors of her being a Muay Thai master and a former military officer are both untrue. Although she has never even learned martial arts, she expressed her ambition to definitely take on action acting in the future.

Meanwhile, following 'Severe Trauma Center' and 'Bloodhounds Season 2,' Ha Young worked alongside actor Jung Hae-in in the Netflix romantic comedy 'When Life Gives You Tangerines,' released on the 7th. The work depicts the unpredictable cohabitation story of prosecutor Go Eun-sae, who suffers from amnesia, and boxing coach Jang Tae-ha, who claims to be her boyfriend.

Reflecting on her experience filming this project, Ha Young shared, "I really enjoyed filming it." She also showed special affection for the work, saying, "The director encouraged me by saying I could just show my easygoing self as it is, which gave me confidence."
