Alteogen achieved a successful turnaround to profitability in the second quarter of this year, recording an operating profit of KRW 34.2 billion on a consolidated basis.

According to a regulatory filing on the 7th, Alteogen's consolidated revenue for the second quarter of 2026 stood at KRW 68.894 billion. While this represents a 3.8% decrease from the previous quarter (KRW 71.599 billion), it marks a staggering 269.5% surge compared to the same period last year (KRW 18.643 billion).

Operating profit also came in at KRW 34.18 billion, down 13.0% from the previous quarter (KRW 39.301 billion), but the company successfully returned to the black from an operating loss of KRW 426 million in the same period last year. During the same period, profit before income tax from continuing operations amounted to KRW 32.749 billion, a 60.9% decline from the previous quarter, but a 2,842.4% increase year-on-year.

Net income for the period was KRW 29.989 billion. Although this represents a 58.0% decrease from the previous quarter, the company successfully swung to profit compared to the same period last year, which saw a net loss of KRW 34.317 billion. Net income attributable to shareholders of the parent company also recorded KRW 28.419 billion, shaking off the deficit of KRW 33.094 billion from the same period last year.

Meanwhile, on a cumulative basis for the first half of the year, revenue reached KRW 140.493 billion, up 37.3% year-on-year, while operating profit grew 21.3% to KRW 73.481 billion. Additionally, cumulative net profit stood at KRW 101.333 billion (up 108.0%) and cumulative net income attributable to shareholders of the parent company reached KRW 100.116 billion (up 99.9%), both recording significant growth.

The company stated that these results are preliminary consolidated figures prepared in accordance with the Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS). It added that since the data is based on internal closing results that have not yet undergone review by an external auditor, there may be differences from the finalized earnings in the future.
