[Breaking] Pharma Research disclosed its preliminary consolidated financial results for the second quarter of 2026 on the 7th. These results are preliminary figures that have not undergone external audit.

According to the company, second-quarter revenue stood at KRW 178.750 billion, up 27.1% year-on-year (from KRW 140.070 billion) and up 22.3% quarter-on-quarter (from KRW 146.100 billion). Operating profit for the same period was KRW 66.470 billion, an increase of 19.0% year-on-year and 16.0% quarter-on-quarter.

Profit before income tax from continuing operations amounted to KRW 74.054 billion, up 32.7% year-on-year and 8.9% quarter-on-quarter. Net income was KRW 56.229 billion, rising 33.7% year-on-year and 15.3% quarter-on-quarter. Net income attributable to owners of the parent company was KRW 56.572 billion, up 19.3% year-on-year and 18.9% quarter-on-quarter.

On a cumulative first-half basis, the company recorded revenue of KRW 324.805 billion (+26.1% year-on-year), operating profit of KRW 123.762 billion (+23.0%), net income of KRW 104.977 billion (+34.5%), and net income attributable to owners of the parent company of KRW 104.147 billion (+24.6%).

Second-quarter revenue by product category was recorded as follows: medical devices domestic sales at KRW 64.497 billion, medical devices exports at KRW 32.186 billion, cosmetics domestic sales at KRW 16.584 billion, cosmetics exports at KRW 43.587 billion, pharmaceuticals domestic sales at KRW 10.695 billion, pharmaceuticals exports at KRW 7.704 billion, other domestic sales at KRW 2.912 billion, and other exports at KRW 0.540 billion.
