Kwang Electronics (017900) is drawing investors' attention on the 7th, showing a sharp surge of over 20% during intraday trading.

As of 1:56 p.m. on this day, Kwang Electronics is trading at 8,190 won, up 1,400 won (20.62%) from the previous trading day. Having recovered the 8,000-won level during the session, strong buying pressure continues, allowing the stock to maintain its gains.

In the early part of the session, the stock exhibited high volatility, triggering the Volatility Control Mechanism (VI) twice. According to the Korea Exchange, the first static VI was triggered at 9:27:46 a.m. and lifted at 9:30:04 a.m. The second static VI was triggered at 9:10:32 a.m. and lifted at 9:12:33 a.m., resuming trading.

With trading concentrated enough to trigger the VI twice early in the session, attention is now focused on how the stock price will trend during the remaining trading hours.
