The K-pop awards ceremony "The Awards," hosted by Sports Donga, will make inroads into the European stage for the first time in K-pop awards history.

"The Awards 2027 in Paris" will be held grandly on January 15 and 16, 2027, at the Plenitude Arena in Paris, France. Having first launched in Seoul in 2025, "The Awards" will take a new leap forward as a global ceremony that unites fans around the world through this Paris edition.

The Plenitude Arena, the venue for the event, is France's largest indoor arena with a capacity of over 40,000, further highlighting the overwhelming scale of this awards ceremony.

The awards ceremony operates under a multi-grand-prize system that comprehensively evaluates albums, digital tracks, performances, and global influence. It consists of a three-tier trophy system: "The Awards Black Label" for the grand prize, "The Awards Delights Blue Label" as the main prize (Bonsang), and "The Awards Dreams Silver Label" for the rookie award.

Meanwhile, Channel A has been confirmed as the official South Korean broadcaster, and the lineup of participating artists and the awards voting schedule will be announced at a later date.
