Hunter Biden, the second son of former U.S. President Joe Biden, revealed that his father's prostate cancer has metastasized to other areas including the bones, describing it as a "very painful condition."

In an interview with the British BBC on the 8th (local time), Hunter Biden said, "The cancer has metastasized and spread to the bones and beyond. It is very painful," adding that watching this is very heartbreaking. He also added, "The one thing I can say about my father's health right now is that I wish he would complain more."

Former President Biden was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer in May 2023, four months after leaving office, and in September of the same year, he underwent surgery to remove skin cancer cells. At the time, medical experts said the likelihood of surgery was not high for the then-83-year-old Biden, and figures from various sectors, including President Donald Trump, wished him a speedy recovery, underscoring the severity of his health condition.

It has been reported that former President Biden's health has further deteriorated recently. Nevertheless, Hunter Biden said that his father continues to express his opinions on national issues and matters of concern while battling his illness. He said, "My father believes in this country," and pledged to keep fighting as long as he is alive.

Meanwhile, Hunter Biden also addressed the pardon granted to him in December 2024, near the end of former President Biden's term. Referring to the fact that he was pardoned after being convicted of gun law violations and charged with tax evasion, he acknowledged that it was "not a fair thing." He stated that this had a negative impact on the United States and on former President Biden's legacy, describing himself as "the most privileged person in the world."
