[Reporter Kim Hyun-jin] Singer Park Ji-hyun's octopus mukbang, showcased on a broadcast program, remains at the center of attention even after approximately four months.

On a previous broadcast, Park revealed a scene where she cooked nakji tangtangi (spicy stir-fried octopus) herself using live octopus from Mokpo sent by her mother and enjoyed it appetizingly. Her cooking skills are known to have been honed during her service in the Korea Coast Guard. Her abilities improved to the point where she could prepare meals for 50 servings alone. She displayed confidence, saying, "If I have a recipe, I can cook any dish."

The main mukbang segment also captured viewers' attention. Park first took a bite of the spicy stir-fried octopus, then tasted mala soft tofu stew while still chewing the octopus. When the sound of her chewing enoki mushrooms aired, the audience erupted in envious admiration. She also shared a tip, explaining that the combination of mala soup and soft tofu helps neutralize the spiciness. In particular, she used the ladle from cooking instead of a spoon to eat, doubling the charm of the mukbang.

Meanwhile, Park Ji-hyun is currently ranked second in the Male Singer Award category at the July Netizens' Awards. As of 4:25 p.m. on the 21st, she has secured 57,873 votes.
