Large-scale regional investments are also gaining momentum. Cheong Wa Dae announced that investment projects totaling 246 trillion won in the Chungcheong region and 107 trillion won in the Yeongnam region will officially begin this year. In addition, the "Together Growth Project," into which a total of 1 trillion won will be invested over 10 years, will also be pursued.

In particular, the government plans to enact the "Mega Special Zone Special Act" within this year to narrow the gap between the metropolitan and non-metropolitan areas. To ensure the smooth implementation of this legislation and inter-ministerial coordination, a pan-government council will be newly established under the Office of the Prime Minister.
