Hanssem demonstrated a significant improvement in performance, recording a consolidated operating profit of KRW 11.285 billion in the second quarter.

According to Hanssem's regulatory filing on the 10th, the company's provisional consolidated revenue for the second quarter of 2026 was tallied at KRW 417.233 billion. This represents a 4.5% increase compared to the previous quarter (KRW 399.418 billion), but a 9.2% decrease from the same period last year (KRW 459.436 billion).

Meanwhile, the core performance metric of second-quarter operating profit stood at KRW 11.285 billion, marking a 12.0% increase from the previous quarter (KRW 10.074 billion) and a staggering 400.2% surge compared to the same period last year (KRW 2.256 billion).

Pre-tax profit and net income underperformed compared to the previous year. Profit before corporate tax from continuing operations amounted to KRW 7.282 billion, up 105.5% from the previous quarter but down 79.2% year-over-year. Net income also reached KRW 4.769 billion, an 81.7% increase from the previous quarter, though it dropped 85.2% compared to the same period last year.

For the first half of this year, cumulative revenue stood at KRW 816.651 billion, down 9.6% from the same period last year. In contrast, cumulative operating profit totaled KRW 21.359 billion, representing a 145.6% increase from the same period a year ago (KRW 8.695 billion). Cumulative net income for the first half was KRW 7.394 billion, a 82.3% decrease year-over-year.

These figures are provisional results based on consolidated financial statements prepared in accordance with the Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS). The company stated, "The accounting review by an independent external auditor has not yet been completed," adding, "Some figures may be subject to change during the future accounting review process."
