OCI Holdings (010060) surged on the afternoon of the 10th, recovering to the 290,000 KRW level. A Volatility Intervention (VI) was also triggered during the session.

According to the Korea Exchange, a static VI for OCI Holdings was triggered at 1:33:20 PM on the same day. As of 1:35 PM, the stock price was trading at 293,500 KRW, up 21,000 KRW (7.71%) from the previous trading day, surpassing the 290,000 KRW level.

Previously, on the 7th, OCI Holdings had risen to as high as 289,000 KRW during the session, coming close to the 300,000 KRW mark. The upward trend has continued into early this week, with the stock once again approaching the 300,000 KRW level, drawing attention to its future price direction.

On the same day, both major domestic indices are also showing strength. At the same time, the KOSPI was up 18.11 points (0.28%) from the previous session at 6,276.88, while the KOSDAQ surged 47.09 points (5.89%) to record 845.90.

Amid the rise in both major indices, OCI Holdings is showing such strong momentum that an intraday VI was triggered. Attention is now focused on whether the upward trend will continue into the latter half of the session.
