Samchundang Pharm (000250) showed a strong upward trend in early trading on the 10th, recovering the 180,000 won level for the first time in about two months. As the stock price surged during the session, a static VI (Volatility Indextion Mechanism), which temporarily halts trading, was also triggered.

As of 10:58 a.m. on the 10th, Samchundang Pharm is trading at 183,200 won, up 18,500 won (11.23%) from the previous trading day. During the session, the price soared to as high as 186,100 won.

Stock price volatility expanded as a static VI was triggered at 10:51:19 a.m. and lifted at 10:53:26 a.m. on the same day. The upward trend continues even after the VI was lifted.

This is the first time since July 21 that Samchundang Pharm has reached the 180,000 won level during a session. The stock price, which had been moving sideways below the 180,000 won level for some time, recorded a double-digit gain in early trading and is showing strength again. Market attention is focused on whether the upward trend will continue for the remainder of the session.

Meanwhile, Samchundang Pharm currently ranks 14th by market capitalization on the KOSDAQ market.
