The Major League Baseball signing bonuses and salary scales of former baseball players Byung-hyun Kim and Shin-soo Choo have been revealed, drawing attention.

Choo is known to have earned approximately 190 billion won in cumulative salary combined between Major League Baseball and the KBO League over his playing career. He married Ha Won-mi in 2004 and has two sons and a daughter.

On the 10th, a pre-release video from the tvN STORY variety show 'What Do You Leave Behind' was posted on the official YouTube channel, drawing attention to their candid salary talk.

In the video, Kim mentioned that he received the highest amount among amateur signing bonuses. Choo then revealed his signing bonus first, saying, "I received 1.35 million dollars at the time." Kim explained that he received 2.25 million dollars, which is equivalent to about 3 billion won at current exchange rates.

They also discussed their annual salaries. Choo said he steadily increased his salary based on his skills and eventually earned an amount reaching 160 billion won. Kim added about his own salary, "It was around 30 to 40 billion won. I was there early on."

The salary question was also directed at Oh Seung-hwan, who appeared on the show that day. When Lee Young-ja asked about his salary, Oh responded cautiously, "My period in Major League Baseball was short, so it doesn't reach that level. We shouldn't talk about money here."
