GCcell, a cell and gene therapy subsidiary of GC Green Cross, announced on the 10th that it has newly recruited Son Ju-hee as Head of Business Development, an expert in global business development (BD) and investment strategy.
GCcell plans to accelerate the expansion of overseas partnerships and the pursuit of new business opportunities through this recruitment.
Head of Business Development Son Ju-hee is recognized for her extensive career in global BD strategy, investment, and partnerships. She graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Chungbuk National University and earned a master's degree in internal medicine from the university's College of Medicine.
Looking at her key career milestones, she handled a wide range of bio business functions—including R&D strategy, business development, investment review, and portfolio management—at Dong-A Pharm, Dong-A Socio Holdings, and Dong-A ST. In particular, she developed expertise in various areas such as establishing R&D strategies, managing global development projects, discovering new businesses, and formulating investment strategies.
Most recently, she served in the Investment Strategy Team of the Management Innovation Office at Lotte Holdings and as Head of the BD Strategy Team in the Global BD Division at Lotte Biologics, where she was responsible for bio-sector investment strategy, global business development, sales strategy, and overseas partnership management.
GCcell expects that the addition of Son will significantly strengthen its business development capabilities.
