Meanwhile, market attention is focused on U.S. economic indicators scheduled for release this week. This is because the pace of inflation could have a direct impact on the direction of U.S. interest rates.

First, the U.S. July Consumer Price Index (CPI) is set to be released on the 12th, Korea Standard Time. Previously, the June CPI rose 3.5% year-on-year. This will be followed by the July Producer Price Index (PPI) on the 13th; the June PPI had risen 5.5% year-on-year.
