The KOSDAQ index closed the regular session at 854.47, up 55.66 points (6.97%) from the previous trading day. Compared to the KOSPI's close of 6,299.66, up 40.89 points (0.65%) on the same day, KOSDAQ's gains were overwhelmingly more pronounced.

Among the top market capitalization stocks, Alteogen's upward momentum stood out the most. Alteogen finished trading at 348,000 won, up 43,000 won (14.10%) from the previous trading day. Jusung Engineering also closed at 144,800 won, up 13.30%, while Wonik IPS finished at 98,400 won, up 11.44%, recording double-digit gains.
Ecopro closed at 93,500 won, up 8.72%, and Ecopro BM finished at 114,800 won, up 7.29%. Rainbow Robotics ended at 489,000 won, up 5.16%, and HLB recorded a closing price of 40,700 won, up 9.11%. In addition, Lino Industry closed at 70,700 won, up 7.61%, ABL Bio finished at 93,600 won, up 8.08%, and RegachemBio ended at 119,900 won, up 5.92%. Major stocks in the biotech, secondary battery, and semiconductor sectors showed strong performance side by side.
