KBS 2TV weekend drama "Love Is On Its Way" recorded a nationwide household rating of 15.7% in its sixth episode, breaking its own highest viewership record.

In this episode, a key scene depicted Kim Mu-jin (played by Ha Seok-jin) suspecting that Han-geul (played by Yoon Ha-bin) may be his biological son and demanding a paternity test from Han Gyu-rim (played by Ahn Hee-yeon). Kim Mu-jin confronted Han Gyu-rim based on the timing of their breakup eight years ago and the child's age, while Han Gyu-rim strongly pushed back and firmly drew the line, telling Han-geul never to meet Kim Mu-jin again. Meanwhile, Kim Mu-jin could not hide his complex emotions as he discovered traits resembling himself in Han-geul.

Meanwhile, the conflict within the family deepened as it was revealed that Han Gyu-young (played by Park Yu-na) had lied about the formal meeting between the two families. At the same time, Park Jung-woo (played by Min Jin-woong) heard from Park Soo-nam (played by Kang Ae-sim) that she wished Geul's mother were her daughter-in-law, and was startled to come face-to-face with Han Gyu-rim, who happened to walk into the shop.

The episode ended with a shocking closing scene in which Han-geul asked Kim Mu-jin, "You met my mom eight years ago, right? Did you like my mom?" This was cross-cut with scenes of Kim Mu-jin, Park Jung-woo, and Han Gyu-rim, maximizing curiosity about the hidden truth.
