The Israeli government has officially rejected the "Hamas disarmament agreement" proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated his position that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will not withdraw from the Gaza Strip until Hamas is completely disarmed.

Israel's Existence is Non-Negotiable" According to the Israeli Prime Minister's Office, Prime Minister Netanyahu officially stated at a cabinet meeting on the 9th (local time), "Israel rejects the 15-point document." The rejected agreement, released by President Trump on the 30th of last month, stipulates that if Hamas begins disarmament, Israel would halt its airstrikes and initiate a troop withdrawal from the Gaza Strip. This is a separate document from the 20-point "Gaza Strip Peace Vision" proposed by President Trump, which Israel had agreed to in principle last October.

Prime Minister Netanyahu defined Hamas's disarmament as "giving up not only heavy weapons but also small arms." He noted that he is continuing to discuss relevant matters with the U.S. side, stating, "The United States has put forward various proposals, some of which are acceptable, but Israel's existence and the safety of its people are non-negotiable issues."

Opposition to Palestinian Statehood... Continued Security Concerns Conveyed Prime Minister Netanyahu also maintained his existing hardline stance on the establishment of a Palestinian state. He stated, "As long as I serve as Prime Minister, there will be no Palestinian state established anywhere in the Gaza Strip or the West Bank (Judea and Samaria)," firmly declaring that he would not allow either a 'Fatahstan' or a 'Hamastan.'

Israel's intention to reject the plan has already been expressed multiple times. Prime Minister Netanyahu also stated on the 4th that he did not agree with the draft sent by the Trump administration and that Hamas's disarmament must take precedence over an Israeli military withdrawal.
