Hankook Tire & Technology recorded preliminary earnings for the second quarter of 2026, with both consolidated revenue and operating profit increasing significantly year-on-year.

In a regulatory filing on the 11th, Hankook Tire & Technology announced that its consolidated Q2 revenue was tallied at 5,682,494 million won. This represents an increase of 5.83% compared to the same period last year (5,369,660 million won) and a 6.94% increase from the previous quarter (5,313,928 million won).

In particular, the second-quarter operating profit surged 58.09% to 559,087 million won compared to the same period last year (353,640 million won), and increased 10.28% from the previous quarter (506,964 million won).

[Key Q2 Earnings Summary] • Profit Before Income Tax from Continuing Operations: 426,269 million won (up 79.14% year-on-year, down 19.38% quarter-on-quarter) • Net Income: 317,249 million won (up 77.48% year-on-year, down 14.81% quarter-on-quarter) • Net Income Attributable to Owners of the Parent: 279,101 million won (up 53.29% year-on-year, down 19.37% quarter-on-quarter)

Cumulative performance for the first half of this year also rose across the board. Cumulative revenue for the first half stood at 10,996,422 million won, up 6.42% from the same period last year. Cumulative operating profit was recorded at 1,066,051 million won (a 50.51% increase), and cumulative net income for the first half reached 689,653 million won (a 40.47% increase).

These earnings figures are preliminary, based on consolidated financial statements prepared in accordance with the Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS). The company added that the accounting review by its external auditor has not yet been completed, and the figures may be subject to change during the future review process.
