Iljin Electric overcame its weakness during the regular trading session, with its stock price soaring in the after-hours NXT market to surpass the 70,000 won level.

As of 4:00 p.m. on the 11th, Iljin Electric is trading at 70,500 won in the NXT aftermarket, up 7,900 won (12.62%) from the day's regular session closing price. Shortly after after-hours trading began at 3:42 p.m., the stock also rose to 68,000 won, rapidly expanding its gains and showing strong momentum. Earlier in the day, Iljin Electric closed the regular session at 61,800 won, down 800 won (1.28%) from the previous trading day. This was a weak close compared to the KOSPI index, which finished up 0.72% at 6,345.53. However, investor sentiment reversed sharply after the regular session ended, pushing the stock past the 70,000 won mark in an instant. According to regulatory filings, Iljin Electric is a comprehensive heavy electric machinery company that produces cables for a wide range of voltages from low to ultra-high voltage, heavy electrical equipment such as transformers and circuit breakers essential for substations, and power equipment that constitutes power systems. Having reversed its regular session weakness to record a double-digit gain in after-hours NXT trading, market attention is now focused on whether this upward trend will continue into the regular session on the 12th, along with the outlook for the stock's future price.
