JTBC's new Sat-Sun drama 'God's Bead' has released its first teaser video featuring overwhelming battle scenes, capturing viewers' attention.

On the 11th, JTBC unveiled the first teaser for the highly anticipated 'God's Bead,' set in the Goryeo period of 1258. This well-crafted historical drama depicts the saga of an escort unit and an imperial princess who take to the battlefield to recover 'Gwaneum Boju,' a sacred relic of national protection, amid a 30-year war with Mongolia.

The released teaser video begins with the tension-filled narration of Baek-gyeol (played by Ahn Bo-hyun). Covering the Mongol invasion of Goryeo in the early 13th century, the video depicts the crisis of Goryeo with high realism through the rough sound of war drums on the battlefield, fierce battles, collapsing fortress walls, and the sacrifices of soldiers. In particular, the scene where Choe-gu (played by Lee Sung-min), the detachment commander of the Night Raiders, falls shows the brutality of war without filter, compactly delivering spectacular action, visual beauty, and the solemn fate of the characters.

In the drama, Baek-gyeol, who is tasked with the mission of recovering the Gwaneum Boju, is joined by Choe-gu and the guide monk Geol-seung (played by Ha Yoon-kyung) on a life-or-death journey. With the addition of Wang-hui (played by Soo-hyun), the youngest daughter of the emperor and the Princess of Gyeonghwa, a massive vortex of fate begins. What they will ultimately protect on the battlefield remains to be seen, and the phrase 'Salvation hanging on the edge of a blade' provokes intense curiosity.

Meanwhile, 'God's Bead' is written by screenwriter Jung Hyun-min and directed by Jung Dae-yoon. Celltrion Entertainment and SLL are in charge of production, and a trustworthy cast including Ahn Bo-hyun, Lee Sung-min, Soo-hyun, Ha Yoon-kyung, and Yoon Gyunsang solidly anchors the lineup.

'God's Bead' is scheduled to premiere on JTBC in December. Domestic viewers can watch replays on Coupang Play, while global audiences can catch the simultaneous worldwide release through Amazon Prime Video.
