KT Wiz reached the milestone of 60 wins faster than any other team in the 2026 Shinhan SOL KBO League.

In their away game against the NC Dinos on the 11th at Changwon NC Park, KT secured a 7-3 come-from-behind victory, extending their winning streak to seven games. With this, KT improved their record to 60 wins, 2 draws, and 36 losses, further boosting their chances of winning the league, while NC remained in seventh place with 43 wins, 2 draws, and 51 losses.

KT overturned a game they had been trailing 1-3 through the eighth inning with a massive rally in the top of the ninth. Leadoff hitter Ahn Hyun-min reached base on a second baseman's error, igniting the spark. After Sam Hilliard drew a walk and Kim Min-hyuk hit a single to left to load the bases, a fielding error by left fielder Lee Woo-sung allowed Ahn to cross home plate. NC brought in reliever Lee Yong-jun, but could not stop the momentum. After Kim Sang-soo retired on a fly ball to right field, Heo Kyung-min reached base on an automatic intentional walk, and pinch-hitter Ryu Hyun-in's infield single tied the game at 3-3. Although Kwon Dong-jin flied out, Choi Won-jun delivered a two-run single to right field to successfully take the lead. Facing reliever Lim Jung-ho, Kim Hyun-soo then drew a walk, and Ahn Hyun-min added another two-run single to right to widen the gap.

In the bottom of the ninth, Ahn Hyun-min donned the catcher's mask due to a shortage of catching resources. It was his second appearance as a catcher since the game against the SSG Landers in Suwon on June 24. Forming a battery with pitcher Park Young-hyun, a fellow rookie draft classmate, Ahn stably received sliders and fastballs to close out the game with a three-up, three-down inning.

The starting pitchers had mixed results. KT starter Logan Allen escaped the risk of a loss, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits, 2 walks, and 5 strikeouts over 5⅔ innings. NC starter Riley Thompson pitched well, giving up 1 run on 2 hits (1 home run), 2 walks, and 9 strikeouts over 6 innings, but was unable to factor into the decision.
