Hanwha Ocean (042660) has reclaimed the '90,000 Ocean' mark after fluctuating around the 90,000-won level. The market is closely watching whether the stock can successfully defend this price range and whether additional upward momentum will emerge.

90,000-Won Level Recovered Alongside H1 Performance Improvement

In the regular session on the 12th, Hanwha Ocean closed at 90,100 won, up 1,100 won (1.24%) from the previous trading day. Amid the recent trend of the stock price hovering around the 90,000-won level, it closed higher on this day, re-entering above 90,000 won.

This stock price increase is backed by solid performance. According to the consolidated income statement in the semi-annual report disclosed on the 12th, Hanwha Ocean's cumulative revenue for the first half of this year stood at 8.6531 trillion won, exceeding the same period last year (6.4372 trillion won). Cumulative operating profit for the same period also reached 1.1772 trillion won, a significant increase compared to a year ago (630.3 billion won).

Looking at the second quarter alone, the company recorded revenue of 5.4432 trillion won and operating profit of 736.1 billion won. Compared to the same period last year's revenue (3.2941 trillion won) and operating profit (371.7 billion won), both figures show notable growth.

Future Stock Price Outlook and Key Focus Areas

With the stock price recovering to the 90,000-won range, the key point of interest is whether it can defend this level and continue its upward trend. Key variables that will determine the future direction of the stock price include performance trends and external factors such as domestic and international market conditions.

In particular, whether shipbuilding cooperation with the United States will materialize, and whether the company will be selected as the 'preferred bidder' for Thailand's frigate project, are drawing attention as new upward momentum.
