The Jeongseon Arirang Cultural Foundation announced that it successfully completed busking performances in Kyrgyzstan as part of the Jeongseon Arirang globalization project and will continue its performance schedule in Kazakhstan starting on the 13th.

■ Busking Stage at Issyk-Kul Lake and Bishkek The first stage of this project was Kyrgyzstan. On the 10th, the Jeongseon County Arirang Art Troupe performed a busking show on a boat at Issyk-Kul Lake, and on the 11th, they performed at Entymak 2 Park in the capital city of Bishkek. At the Issyk-Kul Lake stage, Jeongseon Arirang and seated half-moon farmers' band music (anjeunban samulnori) were showcased against the backdrop of wide-open scenery. At Bishkek's Entymak 2 Park, audiences were treated to a variety of Korean traditional arts including samulnori, pangut, and gilnori.

■ "A Culture That Transcends Language and Borders"... Deep Resonance for Koryo-saram Descendants At the performance venues, locals and tourists responded with enthusiastic applause and cheers to the exhilarating Korean rhythms and performances. Some audience members actively participated by singing along to Jeongseon Arirang or moving their bodies to the beat. In particular, the deep emotional significance embedded in Arirang resonated profoundly with descendants of Koryo-saram (ethnic Koreans in Central Asia). Additionally, a collaborative stage with a local performance team provided a meaningful exchange where Korean and Kyrgyz cultures naturally blended together. The foundation evaluated that through this busking event, it confirmed that Jeongseon Arirang is a culture that anyone can enjoy together, transcending language and borders. Chairman Choi Jong-su shared his impressions, saying, "I once again confirmed that Jeongseon Arirang is a culture that can breathe together with people around the world."

■ Sound Play 'Raetkkun' Continues in Almaty, Kazakhstan Meanwhile, the foundation plans to continue promoting the value of Jeongseon Arirang to the world through various performances and content. On the upcoming 13th, the Jeongseon County Arirang Art Troupe will continue with a performance of the sound play 'Raetkkun' at the Koryo Theater in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and on the 15th at the Mega Center Outdoor Theater.
