Opening at 854.85, the KOSDAQ dropped to as low as 839.86 during the session before recovering its losses and rebounding, with an intraday high of 860.76. Attention is focused on whether the 850 level can be defended and on additional upward momentum.

Among the top 10 stocks by market capitalization, six rose and four declined.
On the declining side, Alteogen closed at 317,500 won, down 10,000 won (3.05%) from the previous trading day. HLB also finished trading down 350 won (0.83%) at 41,600 won, Lino Industrial closed down 100 won (0.14%) at 71,400 won, and ABL Bio ended down 2,300 won (2.58%) at 86,800 won.
On the rising side, Ecopro closed up 1,000 won (1.11%) at 91,300 won, and Ecopro BM finished up 4,600 won (4.19%) at 114,400 won. Rainbow Robotics also recorded a gain of 10,000 won (2.08%), closing at 490,000 won.
■ Semiconductor-Related Stocks Show Notable Gains
The strength of semiconductor equipment and materials-related stocks stood out. Jusung Engineering closed up 11,600 won (7.14%) at 174,000 won, and Wonik IPS rose 6,800 won (6.49%) to finish at 111,500 won. EOSRI also recorded a gain of 17,000 won (4.61%), closing at 385,500 won.
With the KOSDAQ having dropped below the 840 level intraday before successfully rebounding, market attention is now focused on the ability to hold the 850 level and the sustainability of further upward momentum going forward.
