Lee Min-jung and Kim Ji-seok transform into a married couple. The new drama 'Yes, Let's Divorce' will premiere on the KBS Drama channel and GTV channel at 11 p.m. on the 19th.

'Yes, Let's Divorce' depicts the process through which the heads of a wedding dress shop, exhausted by married life, come to decide on divorce. Director Joo Sung-woo and writer Hwang Ji-eon worked together on the production, with Lee Min-jung and Kim Ji-seok playing the couple, portraying emotions that change from their newlywed days to the present. In teasers and posters, the two actors displayed chemistry like a real married couple, and are expected to evoke viewers' empathy with their highly immersive acting.

◆ The reasons for divorce that drove the couple apart

At the heart of the story lie the various reasons why the couple, Baek Mi-young and Ji Won-ho, decide to divorce. The highlight video touches on the couple's experience of losing a child, while also introducing characters named Calvin and Ahn Hee-joo to add tension.

Writer Hwang Ji-eon said, "The newly emerging reasons for divorce, each time you let your guard down, are a key viewing point," asking viewers to pay attention to how the balance of power between the protagonists shifts as the reasons for the divorce come to light.

◆ The people swept up in the divorce lawsuit

The divorce lawsuit also greatly affects the lives of the wedding dress shop G&White and those around it. Song A-ri, Baek Mi-young's college classmate and manager of G&White, and Kang Kyung-tae, Ji Won-ho's younger brother and vice president of the company, each represent the couple's positions. Ji Won-ho's older brother Ji Seung-ho and mother Ryu Mi-soon intervene in the conflict as the in-laws, while Baek Mi-young and Ji Won-ho's lawyers Jeon Chi-hyun and Bae Su-ji are expected to engage in a tense battle of nerves due to a past grudge.

The production team said that the reasons for the divorce remain shrouded in mystery, stimulating viewers' curiosity. Beyond the released teasers and highlights, other wounds that drove the couple apart remain hidden, and the fact that the divorce lawsuit affects the company, the family, and the lawyers' lives builds anticipation for the ending.

'Yes, Let's Divorce' airs on the KBS Drama channel and GTV channel at 11 p.m. on the 19th, and will also be available for streaming on Tving and Wavve.
