Soyeon, the leader and producer of (G)I-DLE, will return as a solo singer in early September. It marks her first solo activities in about 5 years and 2 months since her first mini album 'Windy,' released in July 2021.

Soyeon has proven her exceptional producing skills by writing and composing many of the group's hit songs, including 'TOMBOY,' 'Nxde,' 'Queencard,' and 'I Hate Being Sick.'

Her global influence is also expanding. After being promoted to a full member of the Korea Music Copyright Association in 2024, (G)I-DLE was named this year to Forbes' '30 Under 30 Asia' list.

■ Broadening Her Musical Spectrum as 'icebluerabbit'

Expanding her activities under the producer name 'icebluerabbit,' Soyeon recently unveiled her solo song 'ICE BLUE RABBIT' during the group's world tour to positive reviews. She has also broadened her musical spectrum through collaborations with overseas artists such as rapper Odetari and Grammy winner Anderson .Paak.

■ Active Communication Ahead of Comeback

Ahead of her comeback, Soyeon continues to engage with audiences. On the 18th, she took the stage on EBS 'Space Empathy' to showcase her live singing skills, and she is set to perform at 'WATERBOMB Sokcho 2026' on the 22nd.
