A solution has been announced to restore normal service following a server error affecting the Netizen Awards Android app. According to the Netizen Awards team, users can resume normal use of the service by deleting the existing Android app and reinstalling it from the Google Play Store.
Earlier, a server error occurred on the Netizen Awards Android app, causing inconvenience for some users. In response, the Netizen Awards team acknowledged the error and has been taking steps to address it.
Following the error, users raised questions about whether their previously cast votes would disappear. However, existing cumulative voting records remain intact, and deleting and reinstalling the app does not affect them. Therefore, users who have difficulty participating in voting through the Android app should delete the existing Netizen Awards app and reinstall it.
The Netizen Awards team apologized to users who experienced inconvenience and stated that it will continue working to provide a more stable service.
Meanwhile, in the August Netizen Awards, fan voting is underway with candidates including Hwang Young-woong, Son Tae-jin, Park Ji-hyun, Jang Han-byeol, Seong-ri, Haru, Jung Seo-joo, Kim Hye-won, Byeon Woo-seok, and Cho Yong-pil nominated across various categories. As voting progresses, attention is also focused on changes in the rankings in each category.
