The opening ceremony of the 14th Busan International Comedy Festival (BICF), Asia's first and largest international comedy festival, was held on the evening of the 21st at BEXCO in U-dong, Haeundae-gu, Busan Metropolitan City.

At the opening ceremony, members of the advisory board, including BICF Advisory Board Chairman Lee Kyung-sin, attended and took part in a photo time session on the blue carpet. Present at the event were Secretary-General Sin Subeom, Vice Chairmen Jung Yeonjeong, Kwon Chil-woo, Ahn Sijeong, Lee So-hwan, Im Mijeong, and Song Jin-hong, as well as advisory board members Eom Hye-kyung and Kim Do-yeon.

Meanwhile, the Busan International Comedy Festival (BICF), now in its 14th year, will be held across Busan for ten days from Friday, August 21 to Sunday, August 30.
