KBS 1TV's long-running variety program 'National Singing Contest' returns to viewers with its 'Seoul Jung-gu District' episode.
In episode 2179, airing on August 23, 17 teams will compete in the main round at Jangchung Gymnasium. The highlight of this broadcast is Jonathan of 'Korean Foreigner' fame. Jonathan will appear as a contestant alongside three of his Black friends, presenting a four-member boy group performance featuring a variety of songs including Choi Yena's 'Catch Catch' and ILLIT's 'It's Me.' Their stage and teamwork are expected to heat up the atmosphere at the venue.
The congratulatory performance lineup is also rich. Yoon Su-hyun will open with 'Ninano,' followed by Kim Tae-yeon keeping the energy going with 'Gogogo.' Next, Ryu Ji-kwang will sing 'Pretty One, Kkotpuni,' and Hong Sung-yoon has prepared a stage marking his first appearance on 'National Singing Contest.'
