Alteogen (196170) recovered early losses in trading on the 24th and defended the 320,000-won level. The stock briefly fell below 300,000 won in the pre-market NexTrade (NXT) session, but buying interest in the regular session shook off the downward pressure.

According to the Korea Exchange, Alteogen closed the KOSDAQ regular session at 320,500 won, up 500 won (0.16%) from the previous trading day. The gain was modest, but the stock avoided further weakness and finished the session in the 320,000-won range.

The pre-market session was the key. In the NXT market, Alteogen at one point dropped to 299,000 won, giving up the 300,000-won level. However, it later recovered the 300,000-won range, and with buying interest flowing in during the regular session, it defended the 320,000-won level at the closing price.

The broader market was divided. The KOSDAQ rose 1.42% to 813.33, while the KOSPI fell 3.12% to close at 6,696.96. With volatility in the domestic stock market expanding from the start of the week, it is necessary to watch both Alteogen's individual supply and demand and the overall market's supply-demand and index trends.

Attention is focused on whether Alteogen will seek further gains this week based on the 320,000-won level or face renewed correction pressure.
