HD Hyundai Heavy Industries announced that it has won a contract for the construction of four LPG carriers (LPGC) worth 515.4 billion won.

The contract amount is equivalent to 2.93% of the company's consolidated revenue of 17.5806 trillion won based on its 2025 financial statements.

The contract was signed with a shipping company based in Oceania, and the region of sale and supply is also Oceania. The contract date is August 21, 2026, with the contract period beginning on the same day and running until March 31, 2030.

There is a down payment and advance payment, with the balance to be collected as the work progresses. According to the regulatory filing, the contract amount was calculated using the initial announced exchange rate on the contract date of 1,393 won per dollar.
