Dogecoin (DOGE) was trading at $0.091 on the 24th (local time), up 1.68%. However, CoinGape reported that the relative strength index (RSI) on the weekly chart shows a bearish signal diverging from price movement, suggesting the price could fall to the $0.082 support level.

ETF inflows are increasing

Meanwhile, funds flowing into Dogecoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are on an upward trend. CoinGape viewed the growing ETF inflows despite weakening buying momentum as a sign that institutional demand is reviving.

According to data from SoSoValue cited by CoinGape, Dogecoin ETFs saw a net inflow of $654,000 over the week from the 17th to the 21st (local time). This is the largest weekly net inflow since June 2026. Since trading began in November 2025 (local time), Dogecoin ETFs have recorded a cumulative net inflow of $12.29 million. CoinGape also reported, based on SoSoValue data, that the total net assets of Dogecoin ETFs have grown to $12.22 million.

These inflows came as overall investment sentiment in the cryptocurrency market strengthened, with Bitcoin rising to $79,000 on the 21st (local time). In a previous analysis, CoinGape projected that if Bitcoin breaks above the $80,000 resistance level, Dogecoin could rise to $0.12.

RSI at 48… weekly trend still bearish

Dogecoin's price rose from $0.069 on the 19th (local time) to $0.10 on the 22nd (local time). However, CoinGape reported that investors who bought during the rally subsequently took profits, bringing the price down to $0.091 at the time of writing.

According to CoinGape, the RSI currently stands at 48. Despite Dogecoin's price rising 44% over three days through the 22nd (local time), the RSI failed to form a higher high than before. CoinGape analyzed that the RSI's failure to break above 50 indicates the weekly trend has not shifted from bearish to bullish. Accordingly, it forecast that if selling pressure grows, the upward momentum weakens, and new buyers hesitate, Dogecoin's price could retest the $0.082 support level.

Conversely, CoinGape's analysis suggests that if Dogecoin holds the $0.087 support level, the middle line of the Bollinger Bands, last week's uptrend could resume. In that case, CoinGape projected the price could rise to the upper Bollinger Band at $0.115.

Futures market also bearish… long liquidations continue

Bearish movements are also appearing in the futures market. According to CoinGlass data cited by CoinGape, Dogecoin's long-short ratio had fallen to 0.96 at the time of writing. CoinGape explained this means that despite the recent price rise, buyers are not aggressively adding long positions to chase the rally.

On Hyperliquid, a whale investor took a short position on Dogecoin worth $1.07 million. CoinGape interpreted this as a move indicating the investor expects Dogecoin's price to fall.

These bearish positions emerged as long positions were liquidated following Dogecoin's price facing resistance at $0.10. According to CoinGlass data cited by CoinGape, long liquidations exceeded short liquidations for three consecutive days. CoinGape reported that the resulting increase in selling pressure is dragging down Dogecoin's price.
