Bitcoin continued its strong upward trend, reclaiming the $80,000 level. This marks the first time it has risen above $80,000 since last May.

As of 12:15 a.m. on the 25th, Bitcoin was trading at $80,769.51, according to CoinMarketCap, a global cryptocurrency market data site.

Amid recent market volatility, Bitcoin had at one point dipped below the $70,000 level, but buying interest flowed back in, allowing it to successfully recover key price levels. In particular, Bitcoin has expanded its gains in a short period, drawing market attention to the coin market.

The $80,000 level is regarded as a key price point for gauging the future direction of the market. The key question is whether Bitcoin will hold steady at this level and pursue further gains, or whether profit-taking sell orders will emerge following the sharp short-term rally.

Meanwhile, amid Bitcoin's strength, major altcoins such as Ethereum, Ripple (XRP), Solana, and Dogecoin also rose together.

Given the high price volatility of the virtual asset market, investors should exercise particular caution when investing.
