An event commemorating the first Korean broadcast of the Chinese drama 'Deep in the Wumeng Mountains' on OBS was held on the afternoon of the 24th at Le Meridien Seoul in Jung-gu, Seoul. At the event, OBS CEO Kim Hak-gyun and Wu Japing, CEO of Wu Japing Pictures Co., Ltd., posed for photos after concluding the commemorative ceremony.

The event was organized both to announce the drama's official domestic broadcast and to introduce the beautiful natural environment and unique culture of Guizhou, China, the drama's main setting, while reflecting on the significance of Korea-China cultural and artistic exchange.

The released trailer features Guizhou's beautiful scenery and the authentic lives of ordinary people living there. The work, which captures a warm gaze toward family and neighbors, conveyed a message of empathy and solidarity transcending borders, stating, "Good works have the power to connect people's hearts across language and national borders."

OBS CEO Kim Hak-gyun said that day, "I hope that with this broadcast as an opportunity, China's beautiful nature and culture will become more widely known in Korea, beyond the drama itself," adding, "I hope opportunities for exchange will expand, where actors and production crews of both Korea and China understand each other and create new stories together."

Wu Japing, CEO of Wu Japing Pictures Co., Ltd., responded, "I hope today's event will be the beginning of a precious bond that connects the culture, art, and people of our two countries more closely."

Meanwhile, 'Deep in the Wumeng Mountains,' based on a moving narrative depicting humanity and warm family love, is set to meet Korean viewers.
