On the afternoon of the 24th, the Korean premiere of the Chinese drama 'Deep in the Wumeng Mountains' and a Guizhou Culture, Tourism, and Economic & Trade Exchange Promotion Briefing were held at Le Meridien Seoul in Jung-gu, Seoul. The event was hosted by the Guizhou Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, serving as an occasion to introduce to Korea a drama that captures the beautiful nature of Guizhou Province and its story of rural revitalization.

'Deep in the Wumeng Mountains' is a rural revitalization drama set in a rugged mountain village in Guizhou, China. In particular, it depicts the moving process of young people who return to their hometown and the villagers transforming the village anew by combining agriculture, tourism, and the cultural industry, centered on the 'cliff village.'

The drama aired last year, 2025, in China on CCTV-1's prime time slot, drawing significant attention. In Korea, it will reach viewers through OBS Gyeongin TV. The premiere served as a meaningful venue for exchange held ahead of the drama's broadcast to promote Guizhou Province's diverse cultural and tourism resources as well as economic and trade cooperation.
