The standout stock of the day was Pharmaresearch. It closed at 442,000 won, up 27,500 won (6.63%), recording the highest gain among top market-cap stocks.

Among decliners, HLB's drop was notable. HLB closed at 36,500 won, down 1,800 won (4.70%) from the previous trading day, recording the largest decline among the KOSDAQ's top 10 stocks by market capitalization.

Semiconductor-related stocks weakened across the board. Wonik IPS closed down 3,000 won (2.67%) at 109,300 won, Rino Industrial fell 1,000 won (1.48%) to 66,400 won, and Eotech closed down 1,000 won (0.25%) at 400,500 won.

Rainbow Robotics finished down 4,000 won (0.88%) at 450,500 won, while Jusung Engineering fell 5,400 won (3.02%) to 173,400 won.
